In the Future's song "Blood On The Money", some of his lyrics include:
"It got blood on that money and I still count it,
They got blood on that money and I still count it,
I can't help the way I'm raised up."
Future also raps:
"28 grams, I serve it on the porch
I just seent 'em march, they ran off in my house
The homicide unit come into the house"
Though the lyrics are very simple, many listeners might not understand the real meaning. After reading these lyrics, I believe Future was explaining to his audience his way of life. Earning money illegally, rather from drugs or murder, is no problem for him because that is how he was raised up, as he states.
