Wiz Khalifa - See You Again

Some of the lyrics from Wiz Khalifa's song "See You Again", include:

"It's been a long day without you, my friend
And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
We've come a long way from where we began
Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
When I see you again"

Also:

"Dang, who knew?
All the planes we flew
Good things we've been through
That I'll be standing right here talking to you
'Bout another path
I know we loved to hit the road and laugh
But something told me that it wouldn't last
Had to switch up
Look at things different, see the bigger picture
Those were the days
Hard work forever pays
Now I see you in a better place (see you in a better place)"

This song was dedicated to Paul Walker, famous actor, who died in
a car wreck. It's a very heart felt song, Wiz Khalifa did a good job putting
this song together to honor his death.

The Weeknd - The Hills

In The Weeknd's song "The Hills", some lyrics include:

Your man on the road, he doing promo
You said keep our business on the low-low
I'm just tryna get you out the friend zone
'Cause you look even better than the photos
I can't find your house, send me the info
Driving through the gated residential
Found out I was coming, sent your friends home
Keep on tryna hide it but your friends know"

As you can see from the lyrics, The Weeknd is talking about
sleeping with a women who is already in a relationship with
another man, who happens to be away from home.

He also states how he wants to keep the affair a secret.

I'm surprised The Weeknd didn't receive any reprimanding
for this song based off of how popular it is, though it is a good
song.

Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams

In Taylor Swift's song "Wildest Dreams", some lyrics include:

"He said, "Let's get out of this town,
Drive out of the city, away from the crowds."

She also goes on to say:

"I said, "No one has to know what we do, "
His hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my room
And his voice is a familiar sound,
Nothing lasts forever but this is getting good now"

Taylor Swift talks about the guy she's with
and how he might not be good for him but she
still wants to be with him.

Lil Wayne - Tie My Hands

In Lil Wayne's song "Tie My Hands", some of the lyrics include:

"You tie my hands what am I gonna be?
What have I done so bad?
What is my destiny?
You tie my hands what I am I suppose to see?
What have I done so bad?
What am I gonna be?"

I believe Lil Wayne is saying, how can he strive to achieve what he is destined for
if he is held back by the powers at be.

Also he is saying, what will be the outcome of his life if he is constantly tied down.

Some lyrics from Taylor Swift's song "Bad Blood", include:

"Cause baby now we got bad blood
You know it used to be mad love
So take a look at what you've done
'Cause baby now we got bad blood"
I believe Taylor Swift's lyrics mean't:

We were once friends and had love for each other, but now since
you turned you're back on me, we are now enemies and have resentment

Fetty Wap - Trap Queen

Some lyrics from Fetty Wap's song "Trap Queen", include:

Start of the song:

Some lyrics from Drake's song "Back To Back", include:

"This for y'all who think that I don't write enough,
They just mad 'cause I got the Midas touch,
You love her, then you gotta give the world to her,
Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?
I know that you gotta be a thug for her,
This ain't what she meant when she told you to open up more."

Drake also raps:

"I didn't wanna do it, gave me every reason
The point I'm tryna make is I don't ever need 'em

else write his lyrics. Drake also wrote about Meek Mills relationship with his soon to be wife,

your homeboy bumps the "Warm Up" ( well known mix tape by J. Cole )  now you buggin',
cause you lookin at the cover and you say "Yo that's my cousin"."

In this song J. Cole tells the story of a lost relationship between him and his cousin.
As there relationship falls apart, his cousin falls into a path that leads him to jail, while J. Cole goes on to become a famous rapper. Now that the cousin sees J. Cole is rich and famous, he wants to rebuild his relationship with Cole.

Future - Blood On The Money

In the Future's song "Blood On The Money", some of his lyrics include:

"It got blood on that money and I still count it,
They got blood on that money and I still count it,
I can't help the way I'm raised up."

Future also raps:

"28 grams, I serve it on the porch
I just seent 'em march, they ran off in my house
The homicide unit come into the house"

Though the lyrics are very simple, many listeners might not understand the real meaning. After reading these lyrics, I believe Future was explaining to his audience his way of life. Earning money illegally, rather from drugs or murder, is no problem for him because that is how he was raised up, as he states.
